The FIM Motocross of Nations (MXoN) is one of the most prestigious events in motocross, bringing riders from around the world together to represent their countries in a unique team-based competition. First held in 1947 and originally known as the Motocross des Nations (MXdN), the event is now in its 79th year and has become one of the highlights of the international motocross calendar.
The MXoN features national teams competing across the MXGP, MX2 and Open classes, with riders combining their results to determine the overall winning nation and claim the prestigious Chamberlain Trophy.

Defending MXoN Champions
Australia are the defending Motocross of Nations champions, having won the Chamberlain Trophy for the second consecutive year at Ironman Raceway, Indiana, in 2025.
Hunter Lawrence, Kyle Webster and Jett Lawrence represented Team Australia at both the 2024 and 2025 MXoN, helping Australia retain the Chamberlain Trophy in 2025.
MXoN 2026
The 2026 FIM Motocross of Nations will be held at Circuit Raymond Demy in Ernée, France, on 2 – 4 October 2026.

MXoN Champions
There have been seven different MXoN team champions between 2003 and 2025.
Australia, France, USA, Italy, The Netherlands, Belgium and Germany have all taken home the Chamberlain Trophy since the MXoN was renamed from the MXDN in 2004, with the USA being the most successful team during this time with 8 victories.
