MXoN 2025 - Press Day (VitalMX)

Oct 3, 2025

MXGP MXoN Hunter Lawrence Ken Roczen Maxime Renaux Pauls Jonass

The 2025 Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations has started at Ironman Raceway, not far from Indianapolis, and the various pre-race festivities are in full swing. Away from the various press conferences and start practice, Vital MX's Lewis Phillips caught up with stars from various teams; Hunter Lawrence (Team Australia), Maxime Renaux (Team France), Tony Cairoli (Team Italy), Pauls Jonass (Team Latvia) and Ken Roczen (Team Germany) talk at length.

Lawrence is candid about how much this event means, whilst Renaux and Jonass offer recaps on their respective seasons in the FIM Motocross World Championship. Renaux talks about his 2022 frame, or lack thereof, as well as his immense battle to find comfort aboard Yamaha machinery. Jonass offers a wider perspective on his season, as well as the grand prix series as a whole.

Cairoli reflects on a week of testing with Factory Connection, something he deemed positive, and where he was in the latter half of Pro Motocross. Finally, Roczen discusses Germany's chances as well as his recent extension with the Progressive Insurance Ecstar Suzuki team. Although vague, he does hint at some interest from additional teams.
