The Pro Motocross portion of the SuperMotocross World Championship has stormed into Thunder Valley for its third event–the 20th of the SMX season. Eli Tomac, Haiden Deegan, Cooper Webb, Justin Cooper, Jorge Prado, Austin Forkner, Mikkel Haarup and Valentin Guillod previewed the event on an overcast press day.

Eli Tomac discusses his adaption to Pro Motocross and the process that his hands have had to endure; something that could spur set-up changes in the future. Tomac, a four-time 450MX champion, was coy about his intentions for the 2026 SMX World Championship.

A sick Cooper Webb reaffirmed his motivation and dedication to the current season, whilst his teammate Justin Cooper longed to steal the 450SMX top seed from his grasp. Haiden Deegan–another Yamaha pilot–underlined his competitiveness in 250MX and offered a glimpse into his bonus structure.

Jorge Prado discusses his rare bad starts and the likeliness of those improving, whilst his Grand Prix counterpart Valentin Guillod pleads his case after tangling with Tomac off the gate at round two. Mikkel Haarup assesses his adaption to the United States too.

Vital MX's Lewis Phillips carries out the interviews on the ground on Thunder Valley in Colorado, round three of the 2025 Pro Motocross series.
