AMA Motocross SMX Eli Tomac Garrett Marchbanks Haiden Deegan Hunter Lawrence Jett Lawrence Ty MasterpoolThe 2025 AMA Pro Motocross Championship will conclude against Budds Creek's historic backdrop; festivities started with press day interviews. A star-studded cast tackled the media and Vital MX's Lewis Phillips took time from Jett Lawrence, Eli Tomac, Hunter Lawrence, Haiden Deegan, Garrett Marchbanks and Ty Masterpool.
The Lawrence brothers, of Honda HRC Progressive, were honest in their assessments of 2025 Pro Motocross. It was particularly poignant to peak into Jett's mindset, now that the championship is done and Budds Creek could be called a 'nothing' race. Hunter spoke at length about his impressive streak of top five finishes in 450MX and whether the sport should embrace consistency.
Building on his interview from last week's press day, Tomac was rather honest about facing the realities of being a third-place finisher and whether he is ready to accept that. Elsewhere, Deegan talks maturity and Marchbanks discusses his newly signed contract with Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki. Masterpool, in contrast, is out of that team and looks at his possibilities in the paddock.
