Despite a bleak forecast for race day, Friday's press festivities were run as per the schedule and posed an opportunity for Vital MX's Lewis Phillips to catch up with some stars. Hunter Lawrence discussed his Cleveland mishaps, starting potential in the mud and championship awareness. Returning riders, Justin Barcia and Kyle Chisholm, then star and dissect their very different scenarios. Chisholm has just come off lengthy test days with Monster Energy Kawasaki ahead of the outdoors but will pilot a PRMX Partzilla Kawasaki for the final three indoor stops. Barcia returns with just four total weeks of supercross aboard his Ducati Desmo450. br>
Finally, Nick Romano details a hectic Cleveland and the fact that he misplaced four ribs in his crash there. There are high expectations once more, however, despite that ailment.
